West Michigan is a great a year round travel destination, offering perfect sand beaches with lighthouses and awesome sunsets. As far as fishing the area is second to none, with Lake Michigan, endless inland lakes and some of the best cold water rivers in the county. The town of Ludington is centered in the middle of everything. Ludington is large enough to have plenty of options for lodging, restaurants, family activities and a vibrant nightlife, though is still small enough to not lose it’s small town charm and character.
