Beaver Island Michigan

Fishing aside, many believe there is no better place to be in the summer than Beaver Island and the Indigo team agrees.  Beaver has great weather, while the "mainland" is sweating during a heat wave, Beaver is in the 70's-80's with a pleasant breeze.  The laid-back friendly atmosphere, excellent food and diverse lodging only add to Beaver Island's other qualities.

In our opinion, Beaver Island has the best Great Lakes flats fishing for smallmouth bass and carp.  Endless miles of shoreline, little fishing pressure and lots of big and aggressive fish.

You can find a lot more information at the Beaver Island Chamber of Commerce web site.
