Welcome to Indigo Guide Service located in beautiful West Michigan, near Ludington; a wonderful place to visit even if we didn’t have great fishing. We are so lucky to be located in a resort area with so much to offer, plus top-notch fishing. We are open all year offering full-service guided fishing trips on some of West Michigan’s finest trout, steelhead and salmon rivers, like the Pere Marquette, Muskegon, Big Manistee, Little Manistee and White.  Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned fisherman, our full-time, insured guides will help you have the best experience possible. Our guides are experienced in fly-fishing, casting or instructional float trips.

Depending upon the season and your interest, choose a half- or full-day drift boat trip for trout, salmon or steelhead.  We can customize a trip for families, business outings, and multiple-boat parties.

Instructional float trips are also available for all skill levels.

(03-16-2009) No one ever sits still at Indigo Guide Service. We are all either fishing, tying flies, instructing or researching new areas for our clients. However, this winter Kevin Morlock had a little more time on his hands than most. Fortunately for you he used that time to write a nice article on Carp fishing on Beaver Island Michigan for In-Fisherman magazine.
