This was a great compliment from Kevin, he has been bringing a large group to west Michigan for over fifteen years and this was the first year the guides at Indigo had handled his outing… this was a few years ago and their still using Indigo! |
We have guides contact us all the time that are interested in becoming part of our Indigo Guide Team. Out of the dozen or more applicants a year we usually add only one new team member every year or two. We also have a short list of independent contractors that we hire for large groups and outings, this list could be large but it stays small for the same reason we bring so few new guides onto the team… quality. We will never send a customer with a "live body" just to fill a booking and make a quick buck. The fly fishing community is very small and tight knit and reputation is everything. We are interested in long term customers and our schedule proves it, almost 90% of our trips each year are with repeat customers or people that have been referred to us.
