Steve and I got out for a quick float last Friday.  We tried one area and wasted an hour or so and then moved and got into a fish or two in every other hole.  I wished that I could have fished more with the great weather but I’ve been working on a last minute conservation issue.

It is involving the allocation of an additional 115 miles of gear restricted water on cold water streams.  The PM is the best candidate and I would like to see it get a nice chunk of these miles.  Everyone in the state is fighting to get some of these 115 miles on their favorite stream… it is frustrating that we are all fighting over such a small scrap, 115 out of 14,000 miles.  We will post some information on the site soon involving this issue.
