Two posts from Field & Streams fly fishing blog Fly Talk by Kirk Deeter and Tim Romano, May 2011.

Friend and professional photographer Bill Konway finally came for a visit to Beaver Island and thankfully brought his camera. Instead of me trying to explain how good Bill's photos are I'll just give you a link to the pictures he took while he was on the island.
Beaver Island, Michigan guided carp trip on June 14th and 15th, 2011 with Kevin Morlock.
"I sure enjoyed my fishing trip with you on June 14 and 15. It's very exciting to stalk carp the way we did. It's also fun to fish to a carp only to have a 19 inch smallmouth grab your fly instead. It was a great trip and I hope to do it again. Please put some of our pictures up on your web site so I can show off." Steve W.
"I want to thank you for two great days of fishing on June 14th and 15th in the vicinity of Beaver Island. The carp fishing was amazing. The technical difficulty of trying to hook up with them actually made it a more enjoyable experience. The fact that each of us landed a carp over 20 pounds was a bonus. Your fly selection helped give us a dynamite experience. I almost forgot to mention – we didn’t see any other fishermen! We could deal with having all those quality fish to ourselves. If you can post some photos of our trip it would be greatly appreciated." Steve H.
